St. Pete Time Bank Potluck - Held at Enoch Davis Center
This event is being hosted at the Enoch Davis Center, in support of the launch of the Youth Farm Project, an exciting youth cooperative entrepreneurship pilot program on the property. The address is 1111 18th Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL.
We hold one Time Bank potluck every month, on the last Wednesday of the month. Also, please note all potlucks start at 6:30 pm. Meeting and getting to know members in person is one of the best ways to start making your exchanges happen! We play fun interactive games to facilitate this.
At our potlucks we get together, eat good food, and share a little bit about Time Banking and do an activity to facilitate community exchanges. Make sure to be on time and get a good seat! Both members and non-members are welcome, feel free to bring friends and neighbors, and youth and their families involved in the Youth Farm Project.
Show up at 6:30 pm, bring a healthy dish (and a list of your ingredients) to share and get ready to build relationships with other like-minded folks.
We would like to encourage Zero Waste potluck participation; record 1 Time Credit per person from the Time Bank account if you bring your own reusable water bottle, plate and cutlery. The Pinellas Community Composting Alliance will be providing composting services of any plant-based food scraps (no meat, dairy, bones) and compostable plates and napkins at the potluck.
We'd like to have people with full plates in hand at 7:15 and ready for introductions and to share what you LOVE to do with others as there will be a lively exchange matchmaking activity after we eat. Come for the potluck, leave with a plan for your next exchange!
Come, help us build the Time Bank in St. Petersburg and help support the Youth Farm Project. Visit www.stpetetimebank.org to learn more about Time Banking and how to become a member.
