St. Pete Timebank

From the Founder July, 2020

July 5, 2020

Since our inception as a grassroots effort in October 2016, all members of St. Pete Timebank have agreed to our TERMS OF SERVICE which can be found in the footer of our website, on the bottom of every page. These terms are available to the general public and each member account is stamped with the date it was agreed upon.

During this capacity-building portion of our growth, we are looking at standard documents that most organizations have which support the organization's best practices, policies and guidelines.  A Code of Conduct will be added to our Local Terms of Service on July 15, 2020.  Every member will have the ability to read and agree to these new terms before using the software.

Change to Local Terms of Service:

Participation in St. Pete Timebank is voluntary and subject to the observance of the organization’s guidelines and Timebanking 5 Core Values. Any participant, volunteer, member or staff member who violates St. Pete Timebank’s Code of Conduct may be subject to termination of membership and/or being prohibited from attending the organization’s events.

Members will refrain from:

  • Abusive and foul language

  • Discourtesy or rudeness

  • Divulging matters that are deemed to be confidential, such as personal information of other member(s) contained in the software database.

  • Verbal threats, violence, bullying, either cyber or otherwise, or any other form of harassment/bullying, profanity, name calling toward anyone. Cyberbullying* is defined as the use of electronic communication to bully a person - typically by taking, sharing or sending messages, images or photos of an intimidating, embarrassing, demeaning, damaging or threatening nature or otherwise considered inappropriate.

  • Conducting oneself in a manner that is dangerous to the well-being, safety or life of our members

  • Activities that jeopardize the Fiscal Agent’s tax-exempt status

  • Bringing dangerous or unauthorized materials such as explosives, firearms, weapons or other similar items to St. Pete Timebank exchanges or events.

I have read and I understand St. Pete Timebank’s Code of Conduct. I agree to abide by the rules described above and understand that I may be removed as a participant if I violate any of these rules. I agree to keep confidential any matters deemed as such.
